Provider to deliver an environmental & educational service in partnership with Ward Alliances, residents, community groups, organisations and businesses. The service will complement the Council’s Core Services to improve the physical appearance of the area. The service will include a strong educational and skills development focus and will be evident in the service provider’s approach.

Lot 2: Environmental Education and Campaigning

Provider to deliver an environmental education and campaigning programme to change attitudes and behaviours though community engagement and promotion of community responsibility.

The Council wishes to procure a Provider to deliver an effective and efficient Clean and Green Service across the 5 wards that make up the Central Council area to improve the overall environmental appearance of the area.

Although the service will be expected to be reactive to local need, the key aim of the service will be to work flexibly in partnership with the Central, Dodworth, Kingstone, Stairfoot and Worsbrough Ward Alliances, volunteers, community groups and businesses, to build resilience through a community development approach.
