two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The procurement is for the supply of a blood extraction system and associated maintenance and consumables over a period of six years from award, inclusive of 12 months warranty from commissioning of the system.

The system must be capable of automating the loading, processing and extraction of DNA from whole blood of different volumes (2-4 ml or higher). The Contractor must have the capability to provide the method to support the extraction of whole blood samples.
