two.1.4) Short description

The AHDB Cereals and Oilseeds Recommended Lists (RLs) provide levy payers and the wider industry with independent information on the characteristics and market options for new cereal and oilseed varieties. The information provided by the RLs enables levy payers to select variety’s that are optimal for their cropping system and meet the requirements of their local market. Key to this is the assessment of varietal resistance to disease.

AHDB is seeking to procure the running of cereal and oilseed inoculated disease trials for the purposes of providing data to facilitate the selection of crop varieties into Recommended Lists. Inoculated disease trials are a very important part of the AHDB RL programme and we are looking for suppliers with experience of running inoculated disease trials. The trials should be conducted in such a way that will ensure a high level of disease on susceptible varieties.

AHDB have included a detailed protocol as part of this tender to which the trials must be run.

Tenderers are invited to apply for single or multiple trials as per the list of required trials.
