The National Apprenticeship Awards celebrate their nineteenth anniversary in 2022. They have achieved great success over these years, challenging the nation’s top apprenticeship employers and apprentices to come forward and show how apprenticeships have made a real difference to their organisation.

The National Apprenticeship Awards applications will open in May/June 2022.

The Awards will be celebrated at virtual regional ceremonies (TBC) and a hybrid national award ceremony. The national finalists will celebrate their success and be recognised in November/December 2022.

The Awards are designed to promote excellence in apprenticeships as:

• National Apprenticeship Awards recognise the crucial role skills play in Building Back Better.

• Entering is a real opportunity for employers and individuals to gain the recognition they richly deserve for building the national skills base.

• The Apprenticeship Awards winners will have the honour of celebrating their success at a decorative event in London.

The Department for Education (DfE) is inviting you to tender to support the Awards team in line with the National Apprenticeship Awards strategy and targets. The appointed supplier/organisation will support by providing sponsorship services to raise sponsorship & funding for the National Apprenticeship Awards 2022 cycle, to include the national and regional ceremonies.

This tender opportunity will result in an initial 1 year contract period with the option to extend for three periods of 12 months each (1+1+1+1). The breakdown of budget per year is included within the procurement documents - the overall value stated here is for the maximum 4 year period.

The Department for Education (DfE) is inviting you to tender to support the Awards team in line with the National Apprenticeship Awards strategy and targets. The appointed supplier/organisation will support by providing sponsorship services to raise sponsorship & funding for the National Apprenticeship Awards 2022 cycle, to include the national and regional ceremonies.

The National Apprenticeship Awards celebrate and recognise both employers who are successfully using apprenticeships to improve their business performance and tackle skills shortages, and apprentices whose contribution to the workplace has exceeded their employers’ expectations and resulted in measurable benefits or who have overcome difficulties to succeed through their apprenticeship.
