Leicestershire Adult SARC will supply high quality post-sexual assault and/or abuse care services for service users. There will be collaborative working with other agencies that are part of the sexual assault and abuse pathway, including ICBs, local police forces, and Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners.
NHS England commissioners are intending to award a contract to an existing provider following a Direct Award process C. The lifetime value of the contract is £1,411,221. The services are required to be provided from 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2028.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulation 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. The key criteria that NHS England commissioners used in the decision making process and the importance to delivery of the service was;
Quality and innovation - All services need to be of high quality and innovation is needed to maintain services at the highest level.
Value - The provider demonstrated value for money.
Integration, collaboration and service sustainability - the provider need to be able to integrate and collaborate with the police force and OPCC.
Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice - the provider will continue to engage with the local population and advertise SARC services.
Social Value - The provider has demonstrated an understanding of Social Value requirements and commissioners were satisfied this will continue in the new contract.
