The proposal is to regenerate this at risk Grade II Listed building which will, as well as preserving the striking exterior, create an innovative and collaborative workspace to attract the creative industries and professional service sector into the Town Centre.

With 980m2 of integrated and flexible commercial units, it will provide an inspirational hub for economic and social activity in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil. The overall aim of the project is to fully conserve the YMCA building to the highest standard and adapt it as ten separate letting units.
