The Department for Education, The Standards and Testing Agency have launched a new procurement with the objective to create a Trailing and Sampling Framework.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Standards and Testing Agency's remit is to develop and deliver statutory national curriculum tests for English Reading, English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS), Mathematics, Phonics and Reception Baseline Assessment for use in schools. The Agency is responsible for ensuring these tests are of the highest quality, accessible to all, inclusive and free from bias.

The Agency has launched a new procurement process with the objective to create a new Trailing and Sampling Framework to support the conduct of delivery of the assessments. The contractors appointed to the framework will work with the Agency to ensure that Trials and Sampling assessments are managed successfully.

The initial framework term will be 3 years, with an option to extend it for an additional period of one year.

The prospective contractors are invited to submit a tender for the provision of the Trialing and Sampling Framework services.

The procurement will be administered electronically via the Department for Education e-procurement Solution portal (Jaggaer ).
