Kirklees Council are currently preparing to re procure their Young Carers Support Service.
Kirklees Council wishes to commission a Service to provide Support to Young Carers living in Kirklees and, in partnership with the Adult Carers Service provide a Young Adult Carer Service. The aim of the Young Carers Service is support the identification of Young Carers and provide information, advice and support to Young Carers. The service will promote, support and improve their emotional well-being by identifying and achieving personal outcomes that enable Young Carers to continue in their caring role positively and safely.
This contract is anticipated to start from 1st October 2021, for three (3) years, with the provision to extend for a further two (2) periods of twelve (12) months.
