The primary aim of this market engagement event is to understand market conditions and the options available to commissioners in order to deliver the outcomes and effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement in relation to Breastfeeding in Lancashire. Commissioners reserve the right to not proceed in any future procurement and to apply changes to any information relating to this notice including the proposed commissioning model.

The primary aim of this market engagement event is to understand market conditions and the options available to commissioners.

Lancashire County Council has a vision where 'Lancashire will be the place to live' and where people and families in Lancashire will live healthier lives for longer.

Currently families in Lancashire can access additional support with breastfeeding through the provision of a breastfeeding peer support service. Lancashire County Council wants your feedback on a proposed service delivery model for Lancashire, so that babies will continue to have the best start in life.

We are proposing to continue to provide a Lancashire-wide breastfeeding peer support service and carry out a future procurement exercise.

We welcome your views on the proposed service delivery model to help shape future provision in Lancashire.
