two.1.4) Short description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service and worked for and on behalf of NHS England - North East and Yorkshire - Specialised Commissioning (the Contracting Authority), to commission an Adult Critical Care Transfer Service to be delivered across the Yorkshire and Humber Region.

The aims and objectives of the service are to provide triage, coordination, decision-support, transport and clinical care to all critically ill patients requiring transfer between hospitals.

As part of the market engagement process, upon conclusion of the request for information exercise, the Relevant Authority are planning to hold a market engagement event in February 2025. The Relevant Authority will share further details relation to the event, i.e. date, time, location as soon as possible, alongside sharing details as to how providers wishing to attend the event can register their interest.

Interested providers are advised to regularly check Find a Tender Service and Atamis for further updates.
