Bluelight Gazetteer is used to manage OS Address Base Premium data for the Cheshire Fire Authority (CFA) area plus a small buffer, local data is added to the gazetteer and it is then exported to the Northwest Fire Control Project.
The Supplier is Idox (formerly Aligned Assets). The contract is for the provision of Software Licence Agreements for the Bluelight Gazetteer system and only Idox can provide this Licence as they own the software. The contract has been in place for approximately twelve [12] years during which time spend has been in the region of 168,000 to date. It is the intention of CFA intend to extend the current contract for three [3] years at a cost of approximately £55,000 and it is intended to award the contract to Idox under a VEAT notice, in accordance with section 32 b) ii of the Procurement Contract Regulations 2015.
