The provision of ‘replacement care’ (also known as respite care or short breaks) is important in ensuring each of these outcomes can be achieved. The Council is planning to publish a tender for approximately 24 beds for residential (without nursing) replacement care for older people (65+), through a framework/DPS arrangement - details to be confirmed at the point of tendering.
