This procurement is being undertaken by the Department for Education (DfE), acting through the Education and Skills Funding Agency (the “ESFA”). The ESFA is an executive agency of the DfE, exercising functions to fund adult education and skills and is referred to in this Invitation to Tender as the “Authority” or the “ESFA”.
The Authority wants to encourage and invite Tender applications from a range of organisations to design and deliver a professional development offer to support those involved in the delivery of apprenticeships in England. This offer, the ‘Apprenticeship Workforce Development (AWD) Programme’ will be a blended training package that supports apprenticeship training providers and employers (and their workforce) to offer apprentices a high-quality end-to-end experience.
