To work in partnership with the Tees Esk and Wear valley trust to support adults (aged 18+) who have a learning disability within the Durham and Tees valley area. Supporting the process of gathering feedback, insight and guidance that will then be fed back to the Trust. This engagement in turn will help shape and support the delivery of quality services for people with a learning disability.

The desired outcomes are:

• To improve Trust engagement for adults with a learning disability

• To ensure that the Trust is listening to those that use their services - in particular adults with a learning disability

• To create a strong and effective group where adults with a learning disability can provide feedback and suggestions to the Trust

• A group which has a clear pathway to influence within the Trust

• To help the Trust reduce health inequalities

Procurement of a suitable provider towork in partnership with the Tees Esk and Wear valley trust to support adults (aged 18+) who have a learning disability within the Durham and Tees valley area. Supporting the process of gathering feedback, insight and guidance that will then be fed back to the Trust. This engagement in turn will help shape and support the delivery of quality services for people with a learning disability.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.'
