The AHDB Cereals and Oilseeds Recommended Lists (RLs) provide levy payers and the wider industry with independent information on the characteristics and market options for new cereal and oilseed varieties. The information provided by the RLs enables levy payers to select variety’s that are optimal for their cropping system and meet the requirements of their local market, maximising productivity and ensuring a reliable supply of grain into the supply chain. The RL is run as a series of consecutive five year projects. The current five-year program of crop trials for yield and crop quality ends at harvest 2021. This specification is for the procurement of new contracts to run trials for harvest 2022 to harvest 2026.
AHDB is seeking to procure the running of cereal and oilseed variety testing trials for the purposes of providing data to facilitate the selection of crop varieties into recommended and described variety lists. We are looking for

AHDB is seeking to procure the running of cereal and oilseed variety testing trials for the purposes of providing data to facilitate the selection of crop varieties into recommended and described variety lists. We are looking for suppliers with experience of running replicated variety trials.
All trials will be contracted for an initial period of 16 months from June 2021 to end October 2022, contracts may then be extended on an annual renewal basis, up to a maximum of 48 months (to end September 2026).
