Includes a range of practical based activities and visits to other men's sheds and social economy projects. Participants will be drawn from the greater Ballyarnett area (Predominantly a Catholic / Nationalist / Republican CNR area) and will outreach across the District and Cross-Border to gain cross-community participation and in particular, participation from the Protestant / Unionist / Loyalist community. The project will deliver sustained engagement on issues of common interest to develop positive cross community and cross border relationships in an inclusive and welcoming environment. The Co-Design process identified strong social, wellbeing and physical benefits from Men’s Shed work in the District Electoral Area (DEA). This project builds on this work and enhances networking opportunities for sharing ideas and breaking down barriers.
