Outpatient pharmacies services to provide medicines and related services to patients who are not admitted to hospitals but visit outpatient clinics. Service aim to streamline the medication process for patients, reduce waiting times, and improve overall efficiency. Key objective to deliver on site pharmacies on the sites of Blackpool Teaching Hospital, East Lancashire Hospital Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust primarily to serve patients who attend hospital outpatient clinics and require prescriptions or other pharmacy services.
Outpatient Pharmacy services as outline above to be delivered by Lancashire Hospital Services (Pharmacy) LTD via the Provider Selection Regime (Most Suitable Provide)

Part of this collaboration has seen the creation of One LSC, which provides a single service back office function which has the objective to standardise services in order to provide safe, consistent and efficient patient care, within the NHS.
