Description
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency's (DVSA) Vehicle and Component Testing Services Framework is due to expire on 8 September 2026. This opportunity is for suppliers to join the new framework.
DVSA is the Market Surveillance Authority for automotive products in Great Britain. It ensures that vehicles and automotive products placed on the market are monitored and have been designed and manufactured in accordance with type approval requirements.
DVSA's Market Surveillance Unit has annual work programmes to undertake testing of vehicles and components placed on the market against the original approval standards to ensure they are and remain compliant. DVSA requires suppliers to deliver testing requirements, such as emission testing, noise testing, tyre testing, etc. Please see technical specification for more information.
DVSA will use the framework to issue call-off competitions to the appointed suppliers who can then bid in line with the process set out in the Call-Off award procedure.
This is a closed framework with no limit to the number of suppliers that can join.
There are no costs at framework level, suppliers will need to provide costs as part of their call-off tender submissions. Full information is included in the Invitation to Tender.
