The purpose of this market engagement exercise is to raise awareness and gauge the level of interest in the provision of various requirements and seek the views of the market and interested organisations about the Council's proposals for the delivery of this service in Surrey.
Surrey County Council invites you to join our webinar on Thursday, 30th January 2025, 15:00–16:00, where we will present our Right Homes, Right Support – Older People’s Residential and Nursing Care Delivery Strategy.
This event marks a key step in shaping the future of care home provision in Surrey and addressing the critical challenges faced within the sector.
With a rapidly growing demand for complex care services and a significant increase of residents aged 85+ projected by 2030, we must proactively plan to ensure sufficient and sustainable capacity is available.
The Strategy emphasises innovation and collaboration, building partnerships with local and national care providers to increase market capacity, alongside the utilisation of existing Surrey County Council assets.
Together, our ambition is to create solutions that are both practical and future focused to meet the future demand for care home capacity in Surrey.
This event will provide you and your organisation with a detailed overview of our Strategy, offer insights into its key objectives, and invite engagement from attendees to explore how we can work together to successfully implement this vision and build relationships across the sector.
