1) The Green Waste Treatment Contract was originally awarded to Land Network (Melton) Ltd, as published in the 'Contract Award Notice'- but within a very short period of time (approx. 1 month) they withdrew from the Contract. This necessitated Rutland County Council to award the Contract to the 2nd ranked bidder which was Mid-UK Recycle in July 2017; and New Earth Solutions (West) Ltd T/A Mid UK Recycling, acquired Mid UK Recycling on 12th June 2019.
2) 24 month contract extension (01.04.2022 - 31.03.2024)
