Haringey Council invites potential providers to a virtual market engagement event to discuss the forthcoming recommissioning of Short Breaks Services for Children and Young People with Disabilities. This event will take place on:
Date: Thursday, 23rd January 2025
Time: 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Location: Virtual via Microsoft Teams
The services to be recommissioned will deliver a range of short breaks service for children and young people aged 0-18 (resident in Haringey) with a disability and/or additional needs, including those with challenging complex behaviour and multiple disabilities. The services will be divided into the following separate Lots:
Lot 1- After school activities
Lot 2- Weekend activities
Lot 3- School holidays activities
Lot 4- Outreach support
Lot 5- All other short breaks
The Council is intending to set up an open framework with successful providers for a period of four (4) years with the option to extend for two further periods of two (2) years. It is anticipated that the framework will commence from 1st September 2025.
The market engagement event will include a presentation of the proposed commissioning model and provide an opportunity for potential providers to contribute to the discussion and give their feedback.
