two.1.4) Short description

North East Lincolnshire Council (Authority) wish to engage the market through Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) and are inviting providers to submit a questionnaire response through YORtender along with potentially attending market engagement sessions with the the Authority to discuss your questionnaire responses further.

The objectives of this Market Consultation (PMC) are;

• to make the market aware that there is a future potential opportunity,

• share the Authority's ideas for the scope of the framework and specification

• gather feedback on our ideas and seek provider's thoughts on any opportunities and innovation in the market

• gain views and feedback on the proposed framework mechanism for the contract

The Authority aims to go out to tender in late February 2022 and is looking at options for establishing a potential new framework to enable the maintenance and refurbishment of its Play Areas within Authority owned Play Parks as well as options for purchasing new equipment for installation by the Authority.

• Removal of existing equipment and making good surfaces.

• Maintenance, refurbishment, and reinstallation of the existing types of play park equipment shown in Appendix 1 of the PMC documentation.

• Repair of existing types of play park surfaces.

• Reinstallation of repaired and refurbished equipment.

• Replacement and installation of existing types of equipment shown in Appendices 1 and 2 of the PMC documentation with items that are closely similar or the same.
