Reading Borough Council is committed to promoting good life outcomes for people with learning disabilities and/or Autism with or without Education, Health and Care Plan.It is recognized that access to some form of employment or training is important not only for economic wellbeing but also for social and emotional wellbeing, but barriers to employment persist for people with disabilities. The Supported Employment, and Training Service provider will be commissioned to work with service users aged 18 to 65 years, who are diagnosed with a learning disability and/or Autism (LDA).This includes services users with or without an Education, Health, and Care Plan. The Service will support adults not in Education, Employment, or Training. (NEETs)
