Cadent are looking for a telematics system provider.

Cadent fleet has a range of vehicles including cars, vans and Heavy Goods Vehicles. The Supplier is to provide a System based on open standards and that is compatible with all vehicle types, manufacturers, and models in the fleet, both current and future. This will include EV, hybrid and alternative fueled vehicles.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Supplier is to provide a Telematics system that includes but is not limited to:

• Reporting of driver activities and behaviour

• Track & Trace by being able to view the driving times, locations, and mileage of the fleet in real time or over a chosen time period.

• The holding and management of data generated from the Vehicle Units

• Vehicle Tracking with vehicle immobilisation, panic button & remote asset tracking to locate vehicles.

• Fuel Management

• Vehicle Health & behaviour to reduce CO2 footprint to ensure clean optimal utilisation of journeys and identification of potential vehicle defects.

• Planning Integration

• Job Management

• Safety Telematics

• Vehicle Immobilisation

• Effectively manage road risk

• Advanced driver-assistance systems

• Business Intelligence

• Provide evidence and protect driver/business from spurious claims

• Provide MI, specific to the deployment of the EV vehicle, in terms, remaining battery charge, alert to inform the drive to re charge the vehicle.

• Provide insights to drivers via a phone application, to improve their driver behaviour.

• Driver app to include ability to do a daily vehicle and trailer check, which updates a database held by the fleet team.

• Integrated Safety cameras

• Forward and rear facing cameras, which are remotely accessible through a web portal that can be accessed by Cadent employees on its own site and computers.

• Potential for driver-facing camera with in-cab coaching.

• Integration between Telematics system & the front & rear camera system which delivers the following capabilities:

• Prove non-fault accidents.

• Streamline Cadent's systems with a fully integrated vehicle telematics.

• Secure Cadent's assets with Vehicle CCTV via Desktop & Mobile App

• Crash detection & automatic upload of incidents

• Maximise Driver Safety & security with lone worker protection.

• Detect storage & camera faults/ tampering via instant alerts.

• Produce driver league tables.

• Provide Profiles on dangerous drivers within the business.

The Cadent fleet has a range of vehicles including cars, vans and Heavy Goods Vehicles. The Supplier is to provide a System based on open standards and that is compatible with all vehicle types, manufacturers, and models in the fleet, both current and future. This will include EV, hybrid and alternative fuelled vehicles.

The System provided by the Supplier shall have the capability to be modified and enhanced during the term of the Agreement.

The System shall have the ability to integrate with other systems e.g. Power BI, in order to share data such as Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
