University of East Anglia is seeking to appoint suppliers of HH electricity (Lot 1) and mains gas (Lot 2) for a 36 month contact commencing April 2021 for power and October 2021 for gas. Bidders to Lot 1 (electricity) must also demonstrate ability to manage a "spill" export contract. This tender is being run by Inspired Energy plc on behalf of the University and is open to holders of a valid Ofgem supply licence for the relevant utility only.

This Lot is for the supply of half hourly metered electricity and export of metered electricity from generation assets via a "spill" contract. The imported power is to be traded on a flexible purchasing strategy employing both buys and sells on a forward and prompt basis. The portfolio comprises 5 HH meters with an estimated annual consumption of 12,812 MWh.
The contract is offered for 36 months from April 2021, with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months.
