two.2.4) Description of the procurement

An award has been made by Neath Port Talbot Council for the delivery of the Positive Play Service to provide children who have disabilities with fun, enjoyable experiences to support them to fulfil their potential. The service also provides parent carers with regular breaks from their caring responsibilities.

The service will be demand led and will support children who are under 18 years old and who have an assessed need for the service.

The service will deliver group based (and bespoke) play sessions throughout the year which will include evening clubs, Saturday clubs and school holiday clubs.

The contract period is for 3 years from 01 April 2025 with an option to extend up to a further 3 years.
