Wellbeing Exeter connects people to community life and improves individual health and wellbeing outcomes for people in Exeter. The service has supported over 8,000 individuals and hundreds of community groups in Exeter and Cranbrook.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

To confirm your expression of interest in this contract, please submit a response (maximum 2 pages) detailing how your organisation meets the high level criteria set out below).

The model for Wellbeing Exeter has ECC as the lead commissioner and the Lead Organisation the single contractor with ECC. The Lead Organisation then contracts directly with VCSE providers who employ the staff. ECC is not involved in any of the subcontracts.

The high level criteria for this are as follows:

• A CIC with experience and proven track record in:

• Operating hub and spoke models of community services.

• Working with disadvantaged and marginalised groups and communities.

• Asset Based Community Development

• Civic society support

• Strategic and infrastructure fundraising

• Outcome models of evaluation

• Strategic partnership working with local authorities and the NHS

• Ability to devote capacity in the next 6 months to transition to a new model of Wellbeing Exeter

• Have secured the formal endorsement from Trustees/Board Members to proceed with contract delivery of this type
