The purpose of this document is to assist Fenland District Council (FDC) appoint a suitable Contractor to undertake a Sewage Effluent and Liquid Waste Collection and Disposal service for its sewage treatment provision.
Fenland District Council owns, manages, operates and is responsible for a number of Sewage Treatment Works (STW), Foul and Surface Water Pumping Stations (PS), Cesspits (CP) and Oil/Petrol Interceptors (PI) within the District of Fenland.
FDC also manage STW, PS and PI on Traveller Sites on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council. These assets are to be included in this contract.
