two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The National Library of Scotland (the Library) is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, knowledgeable and innovative Service Provider to replace its current finance systems with a modern equivalent that will generate business efficiencies.
The Library is adopting a Cloud-first approach and is therefore seeking cloud-based solutions.
The required finance system must include: main accounting package - purchases / sales / general ledgers; purchase ordering system; reporting system; support.
The system should be able to effectively accommodate Library operations at the following scale: 10 expert Finance staff; 100 general staff users (purchase order creation / invoice approval); 350 staff on payslip and turnover of ~20 million GBP.
It is anticipated that the ITT will be published in April 2025, and the new finance system will be required to replace the current one by November 2025 and will run for 3 - 9 years.
