The Biomass Suppliers List consists of suppliers of solid biomass fuel (log, chip or pellet) who have demonstrated that the fuel they have listed on the BSL complies with the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) sustainability criteria. It also includes self-suppliers of woody biomass (both groups are defined later in this document).

The key aims of the BSL are to:

1) create a list of woody biomass suppliers who are selling woody biomass fuel that complies with the RHI sustainability and land use criteria; and,

2) provide access to a public-facing version of this list so RHI participants can purchase BSL authorised fuel in order to demonstrate compliance with the sustainability criteria set out in the RHI Regulations.
