This is a pre-market engagement (PME) exercise for the Strategic Partner Project, part of EA's EdIS Programme (formally ETS Programme). This is a continuation of the pre-market engagement activities carried out by the Programme in 2021. EA are hosting a further PME session specifically for those suppliers interested in bidding for the Strategic Partner Project. The session will be held virtually via MS Teams. The purpose of this session is for the Authority to explain and seek supplier views and feedback on potential approaches to: (a) procuring and contracting the Strategic Partner for EdIS and (b) managing the transition from the existing systems and suppliers to new systems and suppliers to be contracted under the Programme. The Authority will issue a PME briefing document in the week prior to the PME session, which will set out a number of considerations on which the Authority is seeking the market’s views as part of developing its procurement strategy and transition strategy. The Authority will explain and discuss these considerations at the PME meeting, and asks interested suppliers to provide a short written response to each of these considerations. As the PME will consider a range of technical, commercial and procurement considerations, the Authority requests that interested suppliers nominate their attendees with this in mind. There is a limit of three attendees per organisation. The PME commercial meeting (all interested suppliers) will take place on Wednesday 12th January (AM).
