two.1.4) Short description

Luton Adult Learning uses ESFA grant funding currently Community Learning (from 24/25 “Tailored Learning”) to commission/subcontract a small amount of delivery to local grass roots organisations. This model has been used for 10 years.

As additional funding streams are released; for example by Government e.g. Multiply, UKSPF and others we would like to have an Approved Provider List for Trusted Partners in place so that we can streamline subcontracting to local Providers. Funding streams are often confirmed by funding body late, leaving little time for a full procurement process. Using an APL will mean that learning can start sooner and targets are more likely to be met. Meeting targets can result in more funding in the future.

If successful in their Application Providers will be invited to join the Approved Provider List and mini competitions will take place from the Approved Provider List when funding becomes available. Membership of the Approved Provider List does not guarantee any work.

All documents are available on the Proactis (Due North/ProContract) e-tendering portal.
