Wakefield Council is issuing this Prior Information Notice to inform the market of this upcoming tender opportunity.

The anticipate contract duration of the contract will run from 1st July 2022 for a period of 3 years and with the option to extend subject to performance for a further period of 3 years meaning the final possible expiry date is 30th June 2028.

The Contracting Authority anticipates undertaking a "light touch" procurement under Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

It is anticipated that the procurement will commence in February 2022 to enable a contract to be awarded by June 2022. Service commencement is anticipated 1st August 2022. It is expected that TUPE will apply.
