LTC requires additional legal resource to National Highways in-house legal team to enable it to support the wider Lower Thames Crossing Directorate as required, including but not limited to the provision of at least one secondee to provide a single point of contact from the in-house legal team to support the LTC Directorate.

This additional legal resource may also, amongst other things, provide training, legal support not capable of being given by external law firms (due to e.g. conflict of interest or being out of scope); assist with drafting instructions to external law firms; assist in the interpretation of legal advice from external law firms and interface between issues and the identification of any broader issues which may impact the interests of National Highways in the Lower Thames Crossing Project
