Mid Ulster District Council on behalf of a partner consortium (Northern Health and Social Care Trust, Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Public Health Agency, Mid Ulster Policing Community Safety Partnership, Northern Ireland Housing Executive and the Environmental Health Department of Mid Ulster Council seeks a single tender for all parts of the contract from: a single provider, or consortium bid from a lead provider in the voluntary and community sector for the provision of services to older people as part of its Ageing Well initiative. The key services are: Good Morning / afternoon Service Handy Van Service Older people’s engagement and connection within the community taking account of COVID-19 Referrals between key services for older people Partnership Working where it will link to existing programmes targeting older people including, but not limited to; dementia programmes, Health Community Navigator programme, Home Safety, Energy support, Active participation, Policing and Community Safety, Diet and Nutrition, Physical Activity, Community Development, Loneliness, Age friendly programmes, and Mental Health and wellbeing. While consortium bids are welcome, Council will only deal with a single lead provider on all matters relating to the tender and any subsequent contract for services.
