Dear Providers,

Provider Engagement Event

Thursday 12th January 11.30am - 12pm

Via Microsoft Teams

Coventry City Council is going out to tender again for the provision of residential care for children and young people with the most complex needs.

Coventry City Council's Children's Commissioning team would like to engage with and talk to providers about how we can work together to support Coventry's children and young people with the most complex needs.

At this online event we want to share with you our most up to date needs analysis for our hard to place children and what will change in the revised tender documentation. We want to share our ideas on possible commissioning intentions for this cohort to seek your views and input as experts in this area to help us develop the best commissioning options.

This event is specifically focussed on working with our children and young people that can be hard to place, who may have experienced placement breakdown, multiple placements, who may have missing incidents, have difficult or challenging behaviours, and who can be hard to engage for some providers.

Therefore, this event is aimed at engaging with providers who can offer placements that are for example, more tailored to meet these complex needs, that may offer therapeutic support or a trauma informed approach, that have a workforce who are able to engage with young people exhibiting challenging behaviour and stick with them.

There will be a chance to ask questions at the event or book an individual meeting with commissioners to discuss what you can offer following the event.

If you can attend, please reply to Priya.Dady@coventry.gov.uk with your representative's name and email address which will be added to the invite.

two.3) Estimated date of publication of contract notice
