two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Contractors are invited to submit tenders for Asbestos Consultancy. The Authority is expecting the same rates will apply to all BSOL hospital sites. If/where individual hospital sites rates are different please simply state the difference. In submitting rates, the contractor is advised that all works undertaken must be done by qualified staff with the relevant professional/industry qualifications. The contractor is required to identify rates/mark-ups for the various bands of works. Following on, the contractor is also required to identify the mark-up to be applied against materials and where required plant. The contractor will be required to provide VAT Invoices as proof of purchase/ownership.

This framework will be for a 3 year term. The Trust has the option to extend on 2 plus 2 years basis up to a maximum of 7 years - 7 years in total (3+2+2).

We will appoint no more than 5 suppliers.

There is a provision for Supplier's site visit during the tender publication period, these are mandatory for the suppliers considering submitting ITT responses.
