Cumbria County Council requires a Consultant to undertake scheme development and

design to support the Council’s developing pipeline of cycling and walking improvements.

The Council is developing Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) at 6

locations across the County and requires costed concept designs for schemes prioritised in

the LCWIPs. This will include two schemes in each of the LCWIP areas; Barrow-in-Furness,

Carlisle, Kendal, Penrith, Whitehaven and Workington.

scheme development and design to support the Council’s developing pipeline of cycling and

walking improvements.
