In order to fulfil the statutory responsibility to report on air quality within Hereford’s and Leominster’s AQMAs, the council has been undertaking automatic (continuous) monitoring at Victoria Street in Hereford city centre since 2016. The contract for servicing the automatic air quality monitoring station (AQMS) at this site is up for renewal.

The council is therefore seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified supplier for the refurbishment, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, servicing and repair (as necessary) of the Hereford AQMS.

The council is also seeking to appoint the same supplier to supply, deliver, install, commission, service and repair (as necessary) a new AQMS in the Bargates AQMA of Leominster.
