Description
Basic Site Establishment
The contractor will be asked to provide costs for:
1. Site clearance, preparation and setting out of allotment plots.
2. Internal access routes to remain as grass pathways.
3. Construction of the car park comprising:
200mm compacted Type 1 sub-base.
50mm gravel wearing course.
4. Definition of all allotment plots using 600mm treated timber posts installed with approximately 300mm above ground level.
5. Relocation of the entrance gate from its current position adjacent to Lillebonne Way to the left-hand side of the allotment gate to prevent unauthorised vehicular access to the field beyond.
6. Installation of a fence and pedestrian gate between the car park and allotment plots.
7. Plot numbering and associated site signage.
8. Tightly mow all plots ready for tenancy.
Options to be priced individually
1. Cultivate plots ready for tenancy
2. Construction of 35 concrete shed bases suitable for 6ft x 4ft sheds.
3. Construction of surfaced internal pathways comprising:
Geoworks SXGrid 3030 stabilising mesh.
150mm compacted Type 1 sub-base.
44mm compacted self-binding gravel or granite dust finish.
4. Supply, erection and installation of 35 sheds measuring 6ft x 4ft.
5. Connection to the mains water supply.
6. Installation of three water standpipes at locations identified on the approved site layout plan.
