Description
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (The Authority) is to appoint a supplier to provide generation equipment, training smoke fluids, and associated maintenance and support services used within firefighter training environments.
The Authority delivers a range of operational training activities including:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA) training
- Search and Rescue exercises
- Incident Command simulations
- Fire Behaviour Training
Smoke generation is a critical component of realistic training environments, enabling the simulation of zero-visibility conditions.
The Authority currently utilises portable smoke generation systems across multiple training sites. The systems require ongoing servicing, maintenance and consumable supply.
Deadline for submissions is the 11th September 2026 and all submission are to be made via the Kent Business Portal (https://www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk/)
