REQUEST FOR INFORMATION For Housing Market Needs Assessment For Herefordshire Council
- Herefordshire Council
Procurement identifier (OCID): ocds-h6vhtk-06d910
Description
Herefordshire Council is requesting information in relation to a proposed Housing Market Area Needs Assessment (HMANA). The HMANA is a formal study that measures the type, amount, and cost of housing needed in a specific region. Local authorities do them to create reliable data for local plans, support fair housing policies, and guide community growth.
Local Housing Authorities are required to review housing demand in the local area to plan for future community needs. The HMANA also helps to build a factual foundation for local development frameworks and core planning strategies and the negotiation of social, affordable and specialist housing.
The Council is not inviting tenders at this stage.
This RFI is intended to test market interest, supplier capability, indicative costs, mobilisation requirements, how flexible suppliers can be to meet the council's needs within timescales, and the delivery options before the Council finalises its specification and procurement route
