Description
We are purchasing a 1-ton induction melting furnace from Shandong Kehua Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (KEHUA) to support Coventry University's delivery of the technical trial phase of the Clean Futures Programme, assisting SME foundries in transitioning from fossil-fuel-based melting to clean, energy-efficient technologies.
Deliverables/Outputs:
Supply, delivery, and commissioning of a 1-ton induction melting furnace
Full installation and operational testing by end of February 2026
Availability for SME Clean Futures trials before project completion in March 2026
Long-term use as a regional clean manufacturing and decarbonisation facility supporting post-programme industrial engagement
