Ofcom has a requirement for comparative international fixed telecoms data for Ofcom's internal use and for inclusion in Ofcom publications, including our Connected Nations Reports. Our objective is to compare the availability and take-up of fixed broadband gigabit technologies in the UK to those in other countries.
