Description
The Cumbria Connect to Work Programme is being commissioned for the Cumberland Council and the Westmorland and Furness Council and will be delivered by Enterprising Cumbria for the whole county, an initiative from the Department for Work and Pensions.
Cumberland Council, the lead on the procurement and also the Accountable Body for this programme, advertised a procurement opportunity to seek a Service Coordinator who will manage Connect to work with delivery partners across Cumbria (Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council areas).
This procurement has concluded and the contract is to be awarded to the successful provider to carry out this programme across Cumbria.
This contract will be awarded to start on 31st October 2025 and terminate on 31st March 2028. There is the potential for two contract extensions of up to 12 months each, depending on both the success in achieving the required outcomes and availability of further funding, which could lead to the contract ending on 31st March 2030. The total value, including the possible extensions, is £9,883,966 excluding VAT.
Bids were evaluated and moderated according to the criteria as set out in the Invitation to Tender.
From the date of this notice and in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, the council will be observing a standstill period of 8 working days before entering into any contract.
