Procurement identifier (OCID): ocds-h6vhtk-05268b
Description
An intrusive survey of sewage equipment and sites owned by FHDC.
our remote and rural properties are served by private drainage systems owned by FHDC, these are maintained and serviced by an in-house team and specialist out-sourced contractors.
The private systems are made up of:
• 10 pumping stations
• 9 wastewater treatment works
• 6 cesspits
• Associated drainage pipe network from dwellings to equipment/outlets.
These systems serve the properties on council estates, including properties that have since been purchased through Right to Buy.
FHDC's objective is to gain a full understanding of the age and condition of these systems and create a programme of replacement and refurbishment over the next 10 -15 years to establish cost certainty and budget awareness required to undertake any necessary capital works.
