Description
NHSBT are looking to award a Framework Agreement for the Upgrades, Maintenance and Calibration for Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) within NHSBT. We will award 2 x Lots to this Framework Agreement as follows:
Lot 1: Maintenance and calibration of a existing Environmental Monitoring Systems
Lot 2: Purchase of New and Upgrades to existing Environmental Monitoring Systems
Temperature and environmental monitoring system(s) used within NHSBT are extensively used for monitoring, recording and reporting temperature conditions within laboratory equipment between the ranges -200°C to +200°C and within an accuracy of +/- 0.20°C. This would include but is not restricted to monitoring of fridges, freezers, incubators and liquid gas dewars. Systems must also provide a capability for monitoring other business critical parameters including but not limited to door alarms, motion sensors, particle counting, air quality including gas levels, pressure differentials and certain items of plant machinery. EMS systems deployed within NHSBT can have over 1000 individual points of monitoring. Any future system must have this monitoring capacity and have the capability to be further expanded where required.
At this stage, it is envisaged that an Open procedure will be undertaken as NHSBT's requirements can be clearly articulated.
It is NHSBT's intention to engage with the market to gather detailed information about the marketplace's capabilities. The format for this will be communicated to those that respond to this Notice. Supplier engagement sessions will be held in November 2025. If you are interested in this requirement, please email jo.murphy@nhsbt.nhs.uk.
