Derbyshire County Council (The Council) is the upper-tier Local Authority for the County of Derbyshire. The Council is responsible for the delivery of a range of mandatory statutory duties including key functions such as adult social care, education, children's safeguarding, public health, highways, waste management, libraries, and trading standards. The Council along with the Waste Collection Authorities and Derby City Council (known forthwith as "the Councils") are seeking information from the market in relation to the future delivery of Waste Treatment, Disposal, Recycling and Infrastructure Services.
This Pre Market Engagement exercise (PME) is intended to gather insights from potential providers to help shape our future service model, inform the development of procurement documentation, and understand market capabilities and deliver value for money.
Participation in this process is entirely voluntary and non-binding. Responses will be used for information gathering only and will not form part of any future evaluation process.
The Aim of this Pre Market Engagement exercise is to explore:
