Description
The current contract was extended through the approval of a Single Tender Waiver (STW) as the Authority was unable to complete the planned procurement and award a new contract. This was due to significant changes in the service requirements that arose during the procurement process.<br/><br/>To ensure continuity of service while these changes were assessed, approval was granted for a Single Tender Waiver to extend the existing contract for a further 14 months. This extension provides the Authority with sufficient time to fully understand the impact of the revised requirements on service delivery and to undertake and complete a new compliant procurement process to secure the service for the future.
