Description
• Provides the ability for the officers to visualise the bus network across the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority area. The baseline data should draw upon established BODS data, as well as ingest geospatial data held by the Combined Authority and its consultant partners, in order to view the bus network comprehensively alongside other data sources.
• Provides the ability to combined multiple existing data sources into a single platform, to produce cross-analysis of the bus network with other geospatial sources.
• Provides options to assimilate operational data such as patronage, boarding and alighting data and fare transactions.
• Provides the ability to create new bus routes and timetables within the software and evaluate existing routes. Analysis should include appropriate scheduling, estimated metrics vehicle KM and PVR to derive route cost indications. This analysis data needs to be transparent and accessible to officers.
• Provides the ability to evaluate strategic performance of the bus network. These include the ability to perform network accessibility analysis, network connectivity analysis and establish an methodology for Socially Necessary Local Services criteria.
